Making Identity Talk. On Qualitative Methods in a Longitudinal Study
Abstract
This article reports on the theoretical questions and methodological means in a 10 year research project titled "Identity development, work careers and social networks". Our project, which has proposed the concept of a patchwork-identity, has realized a longitudinal study with qualitative methods. The article discusses the methodological choices and their benefits and costs.
