Based on strict method it is suited to work with a science that takes person-in-situation as its unit of analysis and acknowledges that persons act in their subjective lifeworlds rather than in objectively given material environments. The phenomenological part of cognitive phenomenology constitutes an important instrument in the service of educational psychologists, particularly those interested in a modern theory of aptitude. The method distinguishes itself from introspection and naturalistic description that use "phenomeno" (-logy, -graphy) in their name. URN: urn:nbn:de:0114-fqs0403129 ER -
