Volume 7, No. 2, Art. 6 – March 2006 The Repertory Grid Interview as a Method of Cooperative Research Michael Dick (Germany) Review Essay: Martin Fromm (2004). Introduction to the Repertory Grid Interview Martin Fromm & Andreas Bacher (2003-2004). GridSuite 2.1.0 (Software for Conducting and Analysing Repertory Grid Interviews) Abstract: Starting with a critique of the orientation of methodological training in academic psychology the essay highlights the appropriateness of method and the encouragement of cooperation as criteria for methodical professionalism. The Repertory Grid interview is introduced as a method which serves both criteria. The reviewed book (Martin FROMM) and the corresponding software (Martin FROMM & Andreas BACHER) serve as an adequate introduction to this method. Nevertheless, a research question is needed that is rational and well implemented within the field of inquiry. Key words: methodological training, professionalism, quality criteria, Repertory Grid interview, psychology of personal constructs This contribution is only available as a full text in the German language.
