Using Qualitative Indicators of Sustainability in Iberoamerican Environmental Research

José Gutiérrez Pérez, María Teresa Pozo Llorente

The standardized use in diplomatic reports and international studies reveals their value and acceptance in communities of experts in different contexts. It is stated that international alliances between countries have brought about important changes, although the new discourses on sustainability leave the responsibility, the control and the design of indicators in a state of confusion.
