Abstract: The experienced ethnographer ROLAND GIRTLER gives ten important "commandments" in his book for field research. Using personal observation and ero-epic dialogue, GIRTLER explores the possibilities of research into different life environments of our time. The book is aimed at those who intend to do ethnographic field research themselves. Because of its clear language and explicit examples from practical research, the book is highly recommended.
