Ein epistemologischer Rahmen für die Integration von konfigurativen systematischen Reviews, Gadamers Hermeneutik und reflexiver thematischer Analyse

Systematische Reviews folgen einem strengen Protokoll zu Identifizierung, Auswahl, Bewertung und Synthese von Literatur. Dennoch übersehen Wissenschaftler*innen häufig die Notwendigkeit einer epistemologischen Begründung, wenn sie verschiedene Forschungsansätze kombinieren, was zu Unklarheiten hinsichtlich ihrer effektiven Integration führt. In diesem Artikel gehen wir auf dieses Problem ein, indem wir die gemeinsamen epistemologischen Grundlagen von konfigurativen Reviews, Hans-Georg GADAMERs Hermeneutik und der reflexiven thematischen Analyse aufzeigen – nämlich eine nicht-fundamentalistische Haltung, ontologischer Idealismus, induktives Denken, iterative Prozesse und eine qualitativ-interpretative Ausrichtung. Aufbauend auf diesen Gemeinsamkeiten schlagen wir einen epistemischen Rahmen vor, durch den die kohärente Integration der Verfahren, Prinzipien und Begründungen dieser Methoden unterstützt und damit eine strukturierte Grundlage für die Weiterentwicklung geboten wird.
