Abstract

In this article, I illustrate the potential for further analysis inherent in the analysis of network member constellation. As a basis for this, a combination of thematic qualitative text analysis and qualitative structural analysis is used to analyze expert interviews and ego-centric network maps. The basic structure and objective of the respective methods are being maintained as much as possible. However, in future analysis it will have to be decided whether the combination warrants further structural modification. An account of the analytical procedure to apply the chosen combination is given as a contribution to the discussion of the further development of qualitative content analysis.
